What we store

We store your account name, password hash, story choices, conversation text and saved progress so that you can return to your stories. Please do not enter sensitive personal information or information about other people.

If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your account identifier, email address, name and profile photo when available, along with verified sign-in details. We use this information to identify your account and keep your saved stories together. Google handles the sign-in; we do not receive your Google password. Existing accounts are linked only after you sign in to that account and choose to link Google.

AI and hosting

When you request an AI reply or suggestions, the story instructions and relevant conversation are sent to DeepSeek to produce that response. Hosting uses AWS; domain and network services may use Cloudflare. Requests and service errors may be logged for operation and troubleshooting. We do not sell your conversations or use them to train our own model. Each provider processes data under its own terms.

Payments

If you purchase a subscription, Waffo Pancake receives your customer identity, contact email, selected product and the billing details you enter at checkout to process payment, taxation and refunds. We keep order references, amounts, currency, billing periods and credit records for access, reconciliation and support. We do not receive or store your full card number or security code. Financial records may need to remain for reconciliation, refunds or applicable record-keeping duties after an account deletion request.

Cookies

An HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in. A second cookie checks that requests came from your session. Local storage remembers language and interface preferences. Payments and subscription records are handled as described above. Voice input uses your browser’s speech recognition service after you consent and allow microphone access. Depending on your browser and settings, audio may be processed locally or sent to its recognition provider (Google in Chrome, Apple in Safari). SlowSwoon AI does not receive or store this audio. Recognized text stays in the editable draft and is not sent as a story message automatically; after you press Send, it is processed like typed dialogue. Photo understanding is currently unavailable.

A short-lived cookie also binds each Google sign-in attempt to your browser. It expires ten minutes after the latest sign-in setup; each verification code can be used only once.

Optional product analytics

Analytics is off unless configured and you choose Allow in Analytics choice. The choice shows the PostHog Cloud region before you decide. We measure generic story-entry, authentication, successful-reply and continuation step states with random browser and interaction identifiers. We do not send conversation text, generated replies, story titles or IDs, preference values, email, account IDs, images, voice, full URLs or your browser IP to PostHog. Our server relays these events; PostHog can see that server's network address. Automatic capture, session recording and person profiles are disabled.

Random measurement identity and local analytic receipts expire after at most 30 days. Expiry does not delete previously received cloud events; their retention follows the configured PostHog project settings. Decline does not affect story use. You may withdraw from Analytics choice at any time; future browser collection stops and local measurement identifiers are cleared. Already transmitted events cannot be recalled automatically. Contact support for stored-data deletion requests. This is single-browser measurement; we do not identify your email or merge accounts across devices or products.

Retention and requests

Saved progress remains until you delete it or ask us to delete your account. Deletion removes the active record; copies can remain in rotating backups until those backups expire. You can request a copy, correction or deletion by emailing support from the contact associated with your account. We will verify account ownership before processing the request.

The service is for adults aged 18 or older. If you believe a child has provided data, contact support.
